In this presentation Suzanne will introduce the narrative therapy process, its principles and the importance of relationship. She will explore the history of the approach and how it is different to other methodologies as well as provide practical strategies that educators and practitioners can apply in their daily work with children.
Suzanne Mackay studied her honours in Psychology and completed her Masters in Practical Theology specialising in Narrative Therapy in 2011. Over the past 13 years she has worked as a counsellor and trainer, supporting and empowering those in the caring professions. Recently, her focus has primarily been her two beautiful daughters, although she remains passionate about increasing the skills and resilience of those who care for others as part of their day to day work.
